This is not your typical Amish romance – it’s refreshing to get a different kind of Amish book- enjoyed it a bunch – I bet you will too…and I expect (after reading this), you’ll be glad to know the next part is already out

I am 67 year old female widow with six grown children and nine grandchildren and I just loved all of yourJacob series. There is so much about Jacob that brings back good memories of my two boys. Of course my boys had a good home and were very much lived, but boys will be boys! These were wonderful and inspiring books by one terrific author. Thank you for this heartwarming series.

I just wanted to say that My Daughter (10) and I found this book to be a very funny and entertaining! The adventures of an inner city kid in Amish country is a unique enough concept, but your books take a really easy going approach to it, which makes these books easy to read and lots of fun. I hope you keep writing these; they are funny at points and touching at others. Well worth the investment for anybody who wants a quick and easy escape from the real world. These are also quick reads so you don’t have to devote days to reading one book. I read this in one sitting. Its also a great series of books for kids to read.

Very Interesting Read With Unexpected Twists

This book is interesting right from the start. It shows that teenagers will be teenagers no matter where they live. I loved the interaction between the girl in the book and Jacob. They aren’t really brother and sister, but they act like it. Jacob is obviously in the home because the court required it, and has issues with the strictness of an Amish household. I love the way the Mother and Father handle him.

This book is an inspirational journey in the meaning of home and family. Jacob had never felt as if he belonged anywhere. In this story, he not only found a home where he belonged but also a family who loved, cared and wanted him to be part of their lives and family. He was finally “Home”.

Refreshing

The Jacob series by Rachel Stoltzfus is a refreshing series. It is about an inner city youth who lives with an Amish family rather than go to jail. Each story is different and Jacob usually gets into trouble as he comes to like living the Amish lifestyle.
