Sarah Fisher, a widow, decides to give tours of her Amish home to help her and her five children be able to keep their farm. She is a quilter and unable to make enough to pay the taxes and her other expenses. Sarah’s children range in age from 6 to 10 years old and are quite excited and very helpful with getting things ready. Many in the community are opposed and turn against her. John Troyer, a new comer, befriends her and helps along with some English neighbors. Will this build up to more than friendship?

I just love this book. This book shows how an organized mother raises five children as a single Mom, with each child being happy and helpful, doing their chores without complaining. Because she is organized but mostly because she is kind and Loving. Of course this book teaches how faith in God is an important part in making our lives joyful, peaceful and comfortable. This story is not without a lovely romantance.

I don’t know if I can put into words how much I loved reading this book! God is so good! Sarah Fisher is a mother of five wonderful children! She has her mamm to help her since her husband died. John Troyer also lost his wife. God brings them together and I can just feel the love sprouting up! I love the author’s way of writing! Looking forward to reading the next one! Amazing !!!!!!!!!

Couldn’t put it down, this is a great start to a new Amish series. Amish Christian Fiction at its finest

I thoroughly enjoyed this book which I received as an ARC copy from the author. I received both the copy with the formatting issue and the updated copy, the issue has been eliminated in the update.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Another sweet story from Rachel Stoltzfus.

4.5 Stars: I haven’t read Amish stuff for a while, so I grabbed this one by a tried and true author. I gotta tell you, I loved how tough Sarah was while finding a way to stay respectful to her community’s values and faith. That kind of thing really gets me, you know? The romance was super sweet, too! I was a little annoyed by the garbled formatting in Chapter 8, but it looked like it was just a list that Sarah was writing. It was kind of confusing at first, but it didn’t really matter to the story, so I just skipped it.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. IT LEFT ME WANTING TO READ SO MUCH MORE. I LOVE HOW GOD BROUGHT JOHN INTO SARAH’S PATH. THEY BOTH LOST THEIR SPOUSES AND NEEDED TO FIND SOMEONE. I ALSO LOVE HOW SARAH IS RAISING HER CHILDREN, WITH RESPONSIBILITY AND CARING, AND HOW SHE MAKES IT FUN ALSO. JOHN IS SUCH A GREAT AND CARING PERSON AND HELPS HER OUT A LOT. PLEASE HAVE THE REST OF THIS STORY SOON. LOL I CAN’T WAIT. I ALWAYS TRY NOT TO GIVE AWAY TOO MUCH OF BOOKS IN MY REVIEWS. I PUT HOW I FEEL ABOUT THEM AND ET OTHERS READ AND GET THEIR OWN FEELINGS ABOUT IT. I HATE TO SPOIL THE STORIES IN REVIEWS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING A GREAT BOOK

I received this book as part of an ARC, and I’m giving an honest review. I love all of Rachel’s books. They’re always well written, easy to understand, have believable interesting characters, and a good storyline. I highly recommend each of her books.
