Cora and Isaac have been friends since childhood. Cora took a detour when she went on Rumspringa (read book 1) and when she came home she had trouble fitting back in to the community because everyone knew how badly her Rumspringa had gone. She also felt God had left her. Isaac, however, still loved her and asked several times for her to become his wife.

I love this series! The characters are like my friends and neighbors. Do start with book one as the characters develop in complexity as the serie progresses. I read anything Ruth Price writes, but this series is my favorite…..for now!

The story of Kate and Joseph is very good.
