I started this series on Book 4 because it was on sale, but after reading it, I have to go back and pick up the first three books! The characters are so real and warm! I love Katie, Joseph, Isaac, Cora and Mary! Especially Isaac and Cora. up. These two are so sweet, and Isaac is trying so hard! You don’t really think about what it’s like for Amish newlyweds trying to get their lives started. Also, Mary is a fascinating character. She really is trapped between the Amish and the Englisch (or in this case French) world, and I’m not sure which way she’s going to go. I am very excited to read the first book so that I can catch up on these characters and their backgrounds! And I can’t wait for the next one to see how things turn out! Great read! Highly recommended!

I put my warning because this book is the one that leaves you hanging out with no answers until the next book comes out. I enjoyed reading this series as I had Four of the author’s books. I didn’t like getting this far into the series and now MUST wait.

Great addition to the series! Can’t wait for the next one!

This series just keeps getting better and better! I love how we’re keeping up with all of the characters and their struggles to stay true to the community’s Ordnung while still doing their best to navigate life. I really like the characters, too – Especially Cora and Isaac! They have some real life issues as they start their lives together, and you think Leah would have learned from the last book, but…

This book reminds me of the words, words ” What an entangled web we weave” It talks about women in their running around years and the mess they made of their lives. Cora the Amish young lady wanted to see what English life was like, found that English life made many problems and decided that it was better living the Amish life, Leah found Cora and she tried to get between Cora and the love of her life. You must read the book 4 to see what happens. Happy Reading
