I bought this book thinking it was a book to assist me in hiring freelancers. WOW! I was surprised but most pleasantly. I loved this book; the plot line and character were unique and not the average action adventure, romance type of book I am used to. This book is definitely worth your rime and investment but don’t buy it if you are looking for a book to assist you in hiring freelancers (lol).

The protagonist in this book doesn’t have it easy. Trying to start a freelance business and maintain a relationship with some people very dedicately interfering. She has to go through a lot to keep everything together and make things work in the end. A fun book.

This was a good lunchtime novel. Very definitely worth the small price I paid for it. Finished it in under 45 minutes. It was fast, easy to stay engaged, and a nice read over my burger and fries. I want to read more of these by Maya. It has adventure, drama, love and friendship as Janelle tries to pursue a freelancing career. There is danger, humor and drama. She trying to balance her new responsibilities with all that’s going on around her. Really easy to read, and the characters were quite likeable.
