Customer Reviews

The books The Shadow of Death–good books

 on November 12, 2015
By Ruth M. Alexander
I enjoyed these books–even though they have strange titles. It shows what can happen when tragedy happens–a family can be so torn apart, but these books show how, with God’s help, and friends, and they can be put back together again. I recommend this book! I’m glad that I read it!

The stories are very good, just not long enough.

God’s Miracle

 on January 31, 2015
By Linda Knott
A fitting end to all the tragedy. At the last minute, so to say, God gives Mary the strength to get out of bed, dress and go to church. Then gives her the strength to meet the young man who killed her husband; and while she was not up to forgiving him, she was able to hear his apology. She begins to come to life and sees her daughter’s and think of a future.

Looking for more.

Excellent read, as usual. The characters were well developed and embodied true Amish values. I do hope there will be yet another book as there still seem to be some lose ends.

It has been a while since I read the book and am not qualified to comment on the violence, sexual content or narrated, but I believe it was in the third person.
